Architecture, done in proportion

We start modular, not micro. A modular monolith with strict boundaries scales and stays simple; we split services only when the data or team genuinely demands it. That pragmatism is why our platforms survive growth without rewrites.

Engineering and delivery

The repo is a product. We enforce conventional commits, protected branches, and a CI/CD pipeline that builds, tests and deploys. Environments mirror production, so the staging demo looks like the live system.

Operations, security and data

We build for the day after launch. Structured logs, error tracking, health and metric endpoints, and scheduled backups with tested restore (RTO/RPO agreed at scoping). A security pass covers OWASP Top 10 concerns: injection, broken access control, dependency audit (Dependabot-style), secrets in a vault, and encryption at rest and in transit.

Can you take over an existing codebase?+

Yes — we regularly audit, stabilise and extend existing applications, not just greenfield builds.

Do you handle hosting and DevOps?+

We set up CI/CD, hosting and monitoring, and can manage it ongoing or hand it to your team.

What about ongoing maintenance?+

Most app clients move onto a monthly retainer for features, fixes and support after launch.

How do you keep our data secure and enforceable?+

Least-privilege authentication (OAuth2/OIDC, short-lived JWTs), role-based or attribute-based permissions, tenant isolation in multi-customer systems, input validation, dependency audits, secrets in a vault and encryption at rest and in transit — with a threat model discussed at scoping.

Can the system scale if we suddenly grow?+

We design stateless services, Redis caching, async queues and database indexing with a horizontal-scaling path documented from day one. But we resist speculative microservices until the data actually demands splitting — scale reality, not fashion.

Will it integrate with our existing tools?+

Almost certainly. We build API-first and map the integration surface in discovery: CRMs, payments, telephony, email and document systems connect via their APIs or webhooks.

Who owns the code and IP?+

You do. After final payment the repository, infrastructure configuration and documentation transfer to you. There is no lock-in and no exit fee — we design for the day another team might maintain it.

How is it tested before launch?+

A testing pyramid of unit, integration and end-to-end tests, load smoke checks, an OWASP-aware security scan, a staging review with your team and a documented UAT sign-off before production.
